Users are already excited about the new Meta Quest 3S as its affordable price is leaked online ahead of its launch on September 25. The cost of the VR headset by Meta appeared in an Amazon advert on the streaming platform Peacock.
One user recorded the promotional clip from Peacock and shared it quickly on Reddit. Most probably the Meta Quest 3S will cost $299 which is highly affordable compared to last year’s version which is priced at USD 499.99.
More rumors about the new VR headset suggest it will have 128GB storage in competition with 64 GB Oculus Quest 2 from 2020. We hope more variants will also be launched offering multiple options to customers.
Also, as per the advertisement, the next level Meta Quest is a full-color passthrough tech at a lower resolution than the Quest 3. Other specifications of the product include a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, with old Fersenal lenses as well as downward-facing side cameras.
Due to budget-friendly pricing, it could have a slightly lower battery capacity than the Quest 3. It may or may not have a headset jack. However, these are mere speculations that will have different customers eager to get their hands on the new device.
