According to a recent report it has been indicated that Apple’s iOS 19 will maintain support for every iPhone model right now operating on iOS 18. This information comes from the French site iPhoneSoft.fr which references an insider at Apple.
If the information is true, it means that for the second consecutive year, Apple is not discontinuing support for any iPhone models. It is fantastic news for users still using older devices, especially since iOS 18 already accommodated a wide range of models.

This strategy might allow the users to extend the life of their devices without feeling obsolete, however, iPad users may not have the same fortune. The same report suggests that iPadOS 19 will not be supporting the iPad7 anymore which was released in 2019. However, all other iPads that are capable of running iPad OS 18 are expected to be compatible with the upcoming updates. For the users who are eagerly looking to try out iOS 19, it is expected that it will roll out during the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which will be released in June 2025.
