Razer has announced a cooling pad featuring a 140 mm fan and an airtight pressure chamber to keep your devices at a lower temperature. During Razercon 2024, the tech company revealed several new accessories and devices, including a new line of Laptop Cooling Pads.
The new device will soon become necessary, as it has a built-in 140 mm fan that is designed to reduce the temperature of 14-inch to 18-inch laptops. According to speculations, it’s the most innovative accessory Razer has ever produced. The laptop cooling pad employs a magnet and seals on its upper area. When a laptop of a suitable size is placed on top of these seals, it creates an airtight pressure chamber that can effectively cool devices more effectively. Better than any other mesh cooling pad designs employed by numerous competitors.
This new accessory also features RGB lightning and three USB ports on the back. The fan speed and lightning can be configured via the Razer Synapse software. A filter specifically designed to reduce debris that may accumulate over time is also included.
According to this cooling pad inventors, it can increase the efficiency by reducing the CPU (central processing unit) and GPU (graphics processing unit) temperatures by 18%.
It is anticipated that the Razer laptop cooling pad is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2024. And will be available to purchase at a retail price of $149.99 at the Razer website and various outlet stores.
