The new Google streamer is a simple, black rounded square with a purple tag displaying the Roku logo. With lightning-fast performance, cinematic Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, quicker app loading, and invaluable features, the new Roku Ultra is the ultimate streaming experience. The 2024 Roku Ultra supports 4K resolution up to 60fps and all four HDR video formats: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
It is also just the second media player, following the Apple TV 4K (2022), to offer HDMI 2.1 QMS, allowing for smooth refresh rate transitions.
The second-edition Voice Remote Pro, which features buttons for simple TV control, including volume and power, is included in the Roku package. It maintains an ergonomic design. There are two new buttons in addition to the lighted ones. Users can easily access shortcuts, such as accessing their preferred streaming provider or activating closed captioning, by tapping the rocket-shaped Quick Launch button. The second new feature is a Live TV button that allows you to watch any of the more than 400 free channels.
This launch reinforces Roku’s commitment to delivering premium features while maintaining accessibility for a wide range of users.
