Nintendo Released New Sound Clock “Alarmo” With Patch Notes and Sensor Technology

Nintendo released the “Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo” on 9 October 2024. The Alarmo has been designed to wake you up “in one of the playful worlds from Nintendo”, said Nintendo in its announcement.

Moreover, Nintendo’s new sound clock features sensor technology accompanied by patch notes. The sensor technology allows you to snooze the alarm with motion and stop it by getting out of bed. Nintendo also offers 35 scenes from its titles including Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, and Ring Fit Adventure. You only pick your favorite one, then select the time and let Alarmo do its work.

Latest Features of Alarmo

  • Added “Moderate Mode” as a new Mode option.
  • Added “Movement Record” as a new Records feature.
  • This will automatically display in Records if you go to bed during “Bedtime.”
  • You can set this to On or Off in the “Records” menu on the device.
  • “Distance from bed” can now be set to 20in/50cm max for Queen and king-size beds.
  • When the “Check Sensor Zone” is run, an estimated “position of movement” will now be displayed.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

Performing the system update

You will receive a notification if a system update is available. Press the Notification Button when the envelope icon is displayed on Alarmo to see recent notifications and follow the steps shown to perform a system update.”

Besides this, Nintendo released a day-one system update of Alarmo to bring Version 2.0.0. It is also revealed that Nintendo include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the future.
