Oppo Launched Find X8 Series, the First Android Smartphone that has Shutter Button Like the Apple Camera Control

Oppo launched the Find X8 Series

On 24 October, Oppo announced the Find X8 Series will be launched in China and soon in global markets. The smartphone has a shutter button like Apple’s “Camera Control” button in iPhone 16 models.

Touching the slide of the shutter button is used to capture photos and swiping is used to zoom in or out. Undoubtedly, this is the first Android phone to have a multi-functional button like this.

Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro, both models support MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset and more impressive key features.  

In addition to the details of the Oppo Find X8 Pro, it is combined with a superior Hasselblad Master Camera System with four camera sensors at the back. All cameras are 50MP while two of them have 3x and 6x telephoto lenses. Alongside a front camera of 32MP for superior selfies and video calls. 

Moreover, the Find X8 Pro offers a 6.78-inch micro-curved OLED display and a 5,910mAh battery for longer life. 

Another Oppo Find X8 is not pro but not less than ever. The Find X8 has a 6.59-inch OLED display and a 5,630mAh battery. It offers a smaller display than the X8 Pro 6.59 inches. You cannot see the 6x telephoto camera sensors in this model, and weighs 193 grams and is 7.85mm thick.

According to leaked rumors, it is expected that Oppo will also introduce the “Mag” charging accessories in the Find X8 Series. These features enable 50W wireless charging and work like MagSafe.

However, the Find X8 starting price is 4,199 yuan ($590) in China for the 12GB/256GB storage. While the Find X8 Pro starts at 5,299 yuan ($745) for the 12GB/256GB model.
