Samsung’s Big Surprise Could Be The S25 Slim Smartphone

Samsung has shifted this annual Galaxy S series Unpacked event to mid-January which was earlier supposed to be in February. It was uncertain if Samsung’s intention was to maintain this schedule in the future, however, a recent leak suggests that January unpacked events will become a regular occurrence. 

As per the Korean website FN news through Jukanlosreve, Samsung is planning to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on January 23 of next year in San Francisco. 

The first Unpacked event of the year is expected to launch the next generation of the Galaxy S25 series. It is contemplated that the standard Galaxy S25, premium Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus will be also unveiled during the Unpacked event. 

In a report by FNN, it is possible that Samsung may also introduce the much anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim. In the previous reports, it was indicated that Samsung would not be launching the Slim until April, however, it looks like it might be launched as a limited experience to collect the experience of the users. 

FN News is not generally a source which is known for rumours but Jukanlosreve has also proven accuracy with the leaks. It is highly anticipated that users may see the Samsung Galaxy S25 series debuting this year during the Q3 earnings call. Additional foldable devices are also mentioned and the report states that the S25 aims to boost the Galaxy Ai experience for users to foster innovation in their daily lives. 

Details About The New Galaxy AI Features

Samsung’s plans to introduce the S25 series with the S25 series remain unclear and one Samsung executive hinted at combining generative AI capabilities into the Bixby personal assistant. 

Moreover, Along with the S25 lineup, Samsung is also expected to launch its Android-15-based One UI 7. There might be some design modifications and it looks like Samsung is focusing more on software enhancements over hardware changes.
