Samsung is set to launch its first Unpacked event of 2025 this Wednesday, January 22. While there are still a few days to wait, the excitement is still building, there is a spoiler alert, the Galaxy S25 series is supposed to take center stage.
Samsung has also shared details on how to tune in and what to expect, typically, the first Unpacked event of the year showcases new Galaxy smartphones, and Samsung has hinted at this in its official invitation.
The company has claimed, “The new Galaxy S series is about to reset the bar once again.” Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) is likely to be a significant focus, as Samsung has teased, “new AI developments as premium Galaxy innovations.”
There is a strong possibility that more surprises await fans at the event, in the form of teaser images or videos. Over the past few years, Samsung has been exploring a variety of devices beyond its usual offerings and users may see some unexpected arrivals at Unpacked 2025.

The Galaxy S series features three models, a Plus, a Base, and an Ultra, however, the teaser trailer hints at a fourth device, which may be speculated to be the Galaxy S25 Slim.
Despite the first Galaxy Ring launching less than a year ago in July, the Galaxy Ring 2 could make its debut at the event, possibly because of the competition from brands such as Oura.
Samsung is also developing a pair of smart glasses, however, details of the same are limited but some intriguing information has surfaced hinting at what these innovative glasses might offer.
Samsung is working on an AR headset, codenamed, Project Moohan. While specifications are unknown, it is confirmed that Qualcomm will be present as a development partner.
