Chinese Technology company Vivo launched the latest Vivo X200 series on Monday (14 October 2024). The newly launched X200 series includes Vivo X200, Vivo Pro, and X200 Pro mini powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 system-on-a-chip.
According to Weibo, Vivo revealed that it will be the world’s first to launch kilometer-level network-free communication and “Dark Zone Breakout” 90fps full-scene mobile ray tracing technology. Interestingly, Vivo has ranked as the nation’s top smartphone vendor acquiring an 18.5% share of the market in China.
As reported by research firm IDC, Vivo provides affordable handsets and is also the world’s no 4 smartphone vendor with a 9.1% share in the second quarter. The pricing of the Vivo X200 series starts from 4,299 yuan (US$608) to 6,799 yuan (US$955) and worldwide shipping will begin from October 19.
In addition to the features of the Vivo X200 series, MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, OriginOS 5 (Android 15), BlueLM, 6.31-inch ‘Quad Curved Display’, and 2160Hz high-frequency. The Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini have 5800 mAh, 6000 mAh, and 5700 mAh battery respectively. Therefore, the latest X200 models support 90W fast charging and Vivo promises longer battery life.
Moreover, the Vivo X200 series features a 50MP primary camera with 20X zooming quality, an ultrawide angle lens, and a 70mm 3X periscope telephoto camera. The new models also support 4K video recording with 120 frames in a second and cinematic slow-motion video capture likely Apple 16 Pro models.
“Supporting the Live Photo format features ensures the X200 imaging system’s seamless compatibility with that of the iPhone”, Vivo said in a statement.
